Every event is different and each client brings forth new experiences and special memories for us. We will spend time with you before your event to review every detail of your planning and determine what is most important to you. This upfront planning allows us to develop a picture of your day and tailor our coverage to create an unforgettable video.
     Upon meeting with the bride and groom, we will review the wedding sequences traditionally found in a wedding DVD. We then determine which segments are most important to the couple and decide where to focus the largest amounts of time on their video. For instance, some couples prefer to watch their entire ceremony uninterrupted on their final video while other couples elect to include only key highlights from the ceremony while focusing on the reception. This personalized service ensures that each client receives exactly what they are looking for. Instead of using standard video templates, we customize each wedding DVD based on the couple’s preferences. Gates-Thomas video photography also uses High Definition cameras and takes pride in ensuring the highest quality DVD is produced.

     Upon electing Gates-Thomas video photography for your videography needs, we will hold the date for your scheduled event. We will then ask you to:
bullet Schedule a meeting time with us.
bullet Complete the bridal worksheet or other event worksheet.
bullet Complete the event segments worksheet.
bullet Transfer items to Thomas Gates for use in your DVD (i.e., photos and video to be used in DVD production) by 4 weeks prior to your event.
bullet Deposit 10% of total balance to hold your date. Final payment due prior to scheduled function by cash, check, or credit card.
bullet Completed DVDs- All DVDs are custom made and require hours of post editing for completion. The completion of your DVD is based on the date of deposit. Priority will be given based on date of deposit.

     Upon booking your event with Gates-Thomas video photography, we require a 10% deposit of your total balance. The final payment will be due any time from the week before your event to the day of the event. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.


If you’d like to order additional DVDs of your event or presentation, each DVD will retail for $19.99.

     We will issue a full refund paid anytime prior to 6 months before the event date.
     If the cancellation occurs less than 6 months prior to event date and the date has not yet been contracted, 10% of full package price will be retained.
     You will receive a full refund of the amount paid if your original event date is contracted by another party.
